The 3/8 in. x 1/4 in. brass ball check valve (Midland 18096) is a compact compression-fitting check that permits flow in one direction and seals against reverse flow with an internal ball. Suited to low-pressure lines, instrumentation, and appliance connections.
Brass body with a ball-and-seat check element. Flow direction is marked on the body; install so forward flow matches the arrow. This is a check valve, not a certified backflow-prevention assembly.
