2-Piece Full Port 1000 PSI (949161 series, 1/4"–4", 1,000 PSI WOG) — Our highest-volume series. The two-piece midline split allows field-replaceable seats; full-bore ID eliminates turbulence and pressure drop. Suitable for general industrial, chemical, food-grade, and corrosive-media service.

2-Piece Full Port 2000 WOG (949171–949178, 1/4"–2", 2,000 PSI WOG) — Same full-bore design as the 1000 PSI series, built to a heavier pressure class with thicker body walls and reinforced stem packing. The right choice for hydraulic cooling lines, high-pressure chemical injection, and applications subject to pressure surges above 1,000 PSI.

3-Piece Light Duty (949270–949280, 1/4"–4", 1,000 PSI WOG) — Three-piece bolted construction allows in-line center-body removal for seat inspection and replacement without disturbing the pipeline. Popular in process piping, cleanrooms, and any service requiring scheduled maintenance access.

What is the difference between 1000 WOG and 2000 WOG stainless valves?

Both are 316 SS full-port ball valves, but the 2000 WOG series uses a heavier body wall and reinforced stem packing to handle pressures up to 2,000 PSI — twice the rating of the 1000 PSI series. Choose the 2000 WOG valve for high-pressure chemical injection, hydraulic cooling circuits, or any system where surge pressures can exceed 1,000 PSI. The 1000 PSI series covers the vast majority of industrial process, HVAC, and chemical service applications.

What is the practical difference between 1-piece, 2-piece, and 3-piece stainless ball valves?

A 1-piece valve is assembled as a single body — compact and economical but not field-serviceable without replacing the whole valve. A 2-piece valve splits at the midline, allowing seat replacement in the field without removing the valve from the line. A 3-piece valve has a removable center body so you can pull the trim (ball and seats) for inspection or cleaning while the end connections stay in the pipeline — ideal for scheduled maintenance applications.
