Typical Applications

This tee adds a 1/8 in. NPT branch—for a gauge, switch, sensor, or bleed valve—to a 3/8 in. flared tube run without disturbing the flared joints. It is common in refrigeration, gas, oil, and instrumentation systems. Apply thread sealant to the NPT branch only; the flared legs seal metal-to-metal.
