Overview
Midland Industries 949484 is a 3/4 in. wye-pattern spring check valve with FPT x FPT (female NPT) end connections. The angled Y body uses a spring-loaded poppet to allow flow in one direction and close instantly on reverse flow. A 316 stainless steel body with 304 stainless internals and PTFE seat and seal handles gas, oil, and water service rated to 800 psi WOG.

Typical Applications
Used for backflow prevention in compressed gas, oil, and water lines where an inline check is needed. The spring holds the disc closed until forward pressure cracks it open, so the valve can be mounted in horizontal or vertical runs. Install with the flow arrow pointing in the direction of intended flow.
