The 149-161mm M8 Maxi Clamp, Stainless Steel is a T-bolt hose clamp that provides significantly higher and more uniform clamping force than worm-drive clamps. Maxi Clamp T-bolt design provides high clamping torque for large-diameter hose used in marine exhaust, industrial rubber connections, and oversized turbocharger piping.
Technical Specifications
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Material | Stainless Steel |
| Clamp Size | See product title |
| Fastener Type | T-bolt and barrel nut |
| Application | High-force, large-diameter, or high-vibration hose connections |
Key Features
- Higher clamping force than worm-drive clamps — rated for large-diameter and high-pressure hose
- Wide band distributes force uniformly — no point-loading on hose
- T-bolt and barrel nut can be torqued to specification for engineered installations
- Stainless steel resists corrosion in marine, automotive, and outdoor environments
- Holds torque setting better than worm-gear mechanisms under vibration
Common Applications
Turbocharger intercooler piping, charge air cooler (CAC) connections, radiator and heater hose in heavy equipment, marine exhaust hose, industrial rubber expansion joints, and any hose-to-fitting connection that will experience high pressure pulsation, vibration, or large diameter that exceeds the reliable range of worm-drive clamps.
