Typical Applications
This tee adds a 1/4 in. NPT branch—for a gauge, control, sensor, or bleed valve—to a 1/2 in. flared tube run while keeping the flared joints intact. It is common in refrigeration, gas, oil, and process lines. Apply thread sealant to the NPT branch only; the flared legs seal metal-to-metal.
