Frequently Asked Questions

Which way does this inline check install?
Install it with the body arrow pointing in the direction of desired flow. The spring-loaded poppet opens forward and closes on reverse flow.

NBR or Viton — which should I choose?
NBR (Buna-N) suits general air, oil, and water up to 210°F. Viton (FKM) extends service to 325°F and resists more chemicals and fuels. Both share the same 400 psi WOG rating.

What is the pressure rating?
400 psi WOG. Temperature range is 10 to 210°F for this NBR version.

Is it lead-free?
No. The brass body contains lead and is not certified lead-free; it is not intended for potable drinking-water use.
