The 1/4 in. forged brass full-port ball valve (part 948170) delivers quarter-turn shutoff with Male × Female NPT ends — the male end threads directly into equipment ports, tanks, or bushings while the female end accepts standard pipe, eliminating an extra nipple. Manufacturer-designated UL 842 / UL 258 (listing file not independently verified by Apex), rated 600 psi WOG non-shock and 150 psi WSP saturated steam, with a solid hard-chrome-plated brass ball and virgin TFE seats. Each valve individually tested.
