Frequently Asked Questions

What is a run tee?
The two in-line flared ends form the run; the third NPT port is the branch take-off.

Does the flare need sealant?
No. The SAE 45-degree flare seals metal-to-metal. Apply PTFE tape or pipe dope only to the 1/2 in. male NPT branch.

Is the flare SAE 45-degree?
Yes. The 1/2 in. flared ends use the SAE 45-degree seat for hydraulic and refrigeration tubing.

What is the pressure rating?
750 psi at ambient temperature with properly flared 1/2 in. tubes.
