  • UL/FM. A UL Listed / FM Approved version of the flanged swing check, built and certified for fire-protection service rather than general municipal water use. If the application is a fire pump discharge or sprinkler main, this is the certification path the spec will call for — a plain flanged AWWA C508 valve does not carry that listing.
