Hose barb × male GHT (Garden Hose Thread) adapter connects a flexible hose line to a standard garden hose coupling — bridging between barbed tubing and the 3/4 in. GHT standard used on hose bibs, sprinkler equipment, and garden accessories. Garden hose thread (GHT) is a straight 3/4 in., 11.5 TPI thread sealed by a rubber washer — not the tapered thread seal of NPT. GHT and NPT are not interchangeable and will cross-thread if mixed.
