Push-to-connect fittings

Push-to-Connect Fittings

Instant, tool-free tube connections for air, pneumatics, and water. Push the tube in and it locks under pressure — release with a collar press for reuse. Adapters, elbows, and tees.

How to Choose the Right Fitting Type

The fitting type determines the connection method, reusability, and pressure capability. Push-to-connect fittings are the fastest to install and are fully reusable — the right choice for pneumatic systems, air lines, and any application where tubing needs to be disconnected for maintenance. Compression fittings are more permanent and rated for higher pressures, making them the standard for water supply, refrigerant lines, and instrumentation connections using copper or rigid tubing.

Flare fittings require a flaring tool but create the strongest metal-to-metal seal — specified for refrigeration, HVAC, and gas lines where a leak-free, vibration-resistant connection is critical. Hose barb fittings are the lowest-cost option for flexible hose, secured with a clamp; they work for water, air, fuel, and coolant at moderate pressures. PVC and pipe fittings handle threaded connections in schedule pipe systems.

When in doubt about fitting type, the deciding factors are: the tubing or pipe material you are connecting, the operating pressure and temperature, whether the connection needs to be serviceable, and whether your media is corrosive to brass. We stock all common configurations and ship fast — contact us if you need help matching a fitting to your system.
