Needle Valve vs. Ball Valve
Ball valves excel at full-open / full-closed switching and deliver high Cv (flow capacity) when fully open. Needle valves sacrifice high Cv for fine control resolution — they are not intended for full-bore isolation. Use needle valves where throttling, metering, or precise dosing is required.
